Week 7 is here. We've come a long way and honestly including playoffs we still got a little bit to go. Where will your team end up? How will they perform in the playoffs? Do you care? Or are you more focused on winning the last of the upcoming contests which are the limbo contest and our Flip Cup tournament. Well there should be some stiff competition out there for the limbo contest. Only expect to win if you can perform like below........

We are nearing the end. While there won't be a finale as good as Breaking Bad we are doing are best to get pretty darn close. There is no theme this week, please do not be afraid to make up your own. This actually is heavily encouraged. Hope everyone is enjoying the season thus far, get out there and get some wins!!! Final Standings depend on it!! We have included some pictures below exhibiting what you should NOT be doing at this point in the season. Probably should have posted these sooner but better late than never. The first is a fail. Don't use your face to kick the ball. The second is a double fail, that assclown dropped the ball AND his beer. Don't be that guy.

We are safely approaching week 5 and the final seed picture is coming into focus. Where will your team end up? A lot of games this week can be big difference makers for seeding. Get those final wins if you can!! Theme contests are still in effect. We've got our final contest this week and it is Camo Party! Break out the Camo and win free drinks. Here are some examples of what we are looking for!!

We four has arrived!!!! We have hit and passed the halfway point of our season and things are going swimmingly. We had a three way tie last week between Dingles, Purple Thunder, and Ballz & Dolls. This week we've got Wrestle mania and we are very interested to see what  you all come up with. We've provided some examples below!!

Ladies and Gents here we are, week 3. This week will be our first theme week, bow ties and bandannas. I've got some examples below of what we are looking for. Which team will take home the first win? I've seen a lot of teams with bandannas already so it may take a lot of effort to get the win.  Good Luck!!

FL Atlantic Week 1

Kickballers welcome to week one of the FL Atlantic Fall Season!! We are really excited that you decided to join and promise not to let you down. You are reading what is called the Ghostman on Third aka the GMOT. This is sent out weekly to the league and includes our weekly schedules, player spotlights, power rankings, fun facts and more. We promise it's a great read and never a waste of time. There are numerous tabs of information in the GMOT (this is only page 1), you may have to click on a box above or find a drop down box depending on where you are viewing the blog from.  We've placed a picture of the field layout for the season below. This is it! The final week to prove your worth before playoffs. Its been a great season so far, lets finish it off strong. We will be having our post season party following the games this week at Hurricanes, so make sure to show up or forfeit your free food and drinks. There will also be a flip cup tournament with the winners getting free Waka swag.

It's Week 4 and we are already halfway through the season!  This weeks theme is pajama party!  Let me congratulate WAKA This Way for winning the most in theme.  Also a congratulations to Ashley Meyer for being theme Queen and Tony Hadd for being theme King.  Find Damian at Hurricane's to claim your prizes!  We have some great matches this week.  May the odds be ever in your favor!

It's week 3 already!  Time flies when you are having fun!  Let me congratulate Cut a Pitch for being the team most in Theme.  Theme King was Matt Chang of SOGO and Theme Queen was Melissa Walls of WAKA This Way.  Theme Queen and King and the Cut a Pitch captain need to find Damian at the bar to claim your drinks.  This week has a theme of Brights and Tights.  I want to see the brightest and tightest all you Action League players have. Which teams will walk away with the W?  Good Luck!

Welcome to week 2!  You guys made it through the first week.  Now it's time for themes... Which team is going to go all out for the Red, White and Blue party?  Whoever it may be, they will be rewarded at the bar.  This week there will also be a mandatory ref clinic for newbies at the fields starting at 6:30.  Other people are encouraged to attend as everyone should know the rules to be able to ref their share of games.  Good luck tonight.  Will your team get a W?

Welcome to FL Action Week 1

Welcome to the FL Action Summer League!  I hope everyone is ready for 8 weeks of insanity (12 ounce curls of course).  For all the newbies out there, welcome to the best time of your adult lives.  I want to thank everyone for a great turnout at the preseason party last week.  If you happened to miss the party, there will be plenty of themes this season along with a post season party to make up for it.  

This blog will contain updated info every week including the schedule, power rankings, results, etc.  You can navigate through the blog from the tabs across the top or a drop down menu depending on how you are currently viewing it.  There will be a dry erase board located at the fields to let you know which field is located where.  I hope everyone is ready to play some kickball!  Just remember, if you fail at kickball like the kid in this picture then just make sure to win at the bar afterwards!  

Week 7 has arrived! This is the last week of the regular season and this is everyone’s last chance to get a win before we go into playoffs. It’s been a great season. We hope everyone enjoyed it and wants to do it again! 

Don’t forget our Playoffs will be Sunday April 14^th starting at 12pm. We will have breakfast catered by Uptown Market starting at 1030am. We will also take a league photo at 1245 pm. Following the tournament will be our end of season party starting at 600pm at Burrito Gallery.

It’s week six!! The playoff picture is becoming very clear. Every team makes it so whether you’re first or last start getting excited and amped up for this epic all day event!! It’s been a great season thus far and we hope everyone is enjoying it. Keep on playing hard, the finish line is near!!

This season is flying by!! It is kinda crazy to think we are already in week 5 and we only have 2 weeks and playoffs left! Let’s do our best to make these last 2 weeks and playoffs epic!! We will start this week with an around the world theme. Team with the most wins free pitchers. Last week we had a tie between Dirty Dahlia’s and Sofa King Awesome for the theme. Some other teams need to bring the heat and give these teams some competition. The theme King was Yegor Krutov of Chug Norris AGAIN! The theme queen was Rachel Nagy of Duval Stunna’s.

Don’t forget our Playoffs will be Sunday April 14^th starting at 12pm. We will have breakfast catered by Uptown Market starting at 1030am. We will also take a league photo at 1130am. Following the tournament will be our end of season party starting at 600pm at Burrito Gallery.

Week 4 has arrived with the quickness. Great job last week to the teams that participated in the theme, for those of you that didn’t, you’re lame. Fun was had by all. SOFA King Awesome took home the gold as the theme team of the week with Dirty Dahlia’s as a very close second. Theme King was Yegor Krutov of Chug Norris. Theme Queen was Tara Witt of Jax8TracksMaps. This week is All Gold Everything. I’ve included an example below of what should happen.

Week 3 is here and with week 3 comes themes! Yes Themes! Our first theme will be Under the Sea. Seems lame, but it’s not. I mean you get the opportunity to wear diving gear or dress up as some type of sea creature! What is better than that? Nothing……Until next week’s theme comes around. We really hope everyone is enjoying the season so far, we’ve still got plenty up our sleeves so prepare yourselves, its only getting better!!

Week two has arrived. We hope everyone had a blast in our first week of action. With many more weeks to come, fun should be had by all. This week we’ll attempt to get a Limbo contest going at the after party along with all the other games that will be going down. There will also be a ref clinic at 630pm prior to games this week. If you want to brush up on the rules a bit we’d encourage you to attend.

Welcome to week 1 of the best decision of the social aspect of your life. If you missed the pre-season party, you missed out. We'd like to say you didn't, but you did. Luckily for everyone we've got seven weeks of fun and an epic playoff and end of season party planned so those that missed out will have several chances to join in on the fun.
