FL Atlantic - Fall 2014 - Playoffs

Ladies and Gentleman the Playoffs have arrived. It is now time to win or go home (to the bar really). This is what we've all been playing for! The opportunity to capture the Golden Kickball is here!!!!! Who will take it home? The games this week will birth a new champion and they will be poppin bottles as displayed below! Until then!!!

Also do not forget that tonight is our end of season party!!!!!!!! Each team will receive numerous free pitchers (Please see your captain). Hope everyone has enjoyed this season. Until next time!!!

FL Atlantic Fall 2014 - Week 7

Week 7 is here. We've come a long way and honestly including playoffs we still got a little bit to go. Where will your team end up? How will they perform in the playoffs? Do you care? Those are the questions we've got to ask ourselves down the stretch here. Everyone just dig deep and get it done!!!

FL Atlantic - Week 6

We are nearing the end. There is no theme this week, please do not be afraid to make up your own. This actually is heavily encouraged. Hope everyone is enjoying the season so far. It is time to get out there and get some wins!!! Final Standings depend on it!! We have included some pictures below exhibiting what you should NOT be doing at this point in the season. Probably should have posted these sooner but better late than never. The first is a fail. Don't use your face to kick the ball. The second is a double fail, that assclown dropped the ball AND his beer. Don't be that guy.

Kickballers!!!

We are safely approaching week 5 and the final playoff ranking picture is coming into focus. Where will your team end up? A lot of games this week can be big difference makers for seeding. Get those final wins if you can while there is still time!! Theme contests are still in effect. We've got our final contest this week and it is Caddy Shack! Break out the golf gear and win free drinks. Here are some examples of what we are looking for!!

FL Atlantic Fall 2014 - Week 4

We four has arrived!!!! We have officially hit the halfway point of our season and things are going swimmingly. There were winners and losers on the field but most importantly Hit it and Bounce and the WAKA Dead crushed the Theme competition taking home a co-win last week! This week we've got the Rock and Roll  theme.  Very excited to see what everyone comes up with!! Here is some inspiration below:

This week we will have our infamous Referee Clinic and we encourage everyone (especially newbies) to attend. Good luck in week two!! Kickballers welcome to week one of the FL Atlantic Fall Season!! We are really excited that you decided to join and promise not to let you down. You are reading what is called the Ghostman on Third aka the GMOT. This is sent out weekly to the league and includes our weekly schedules, player spotlights, power rankings, fun facts and more. We promise it's a great read and never a waste of time. There are numerous tabs of information in the GMOT (this is only page 1), you may have to click on a box above or find a drop down box depending on where you are viewing the blog from.  We've placed a picture of the field layout for the season below. Please look at this and the schedule so you know where to go!! See everyone on the field, good luck!! Also below we've included a few pictures of what you should/should not be doing this season at kickball. Can you guess which is which?

We are nearing the end. While there won't be a finale as good as Walking Dead (If you thought that was good, I didn't) we are doing are best to get pretty darn close. There is no theme this week, please do not be afraid to make up your own. This actually is heavily encouraged. Hope everyone is enjoying the season so far. Break out the Cowboy Hats, Bolo Ties, Chaps and Holsters and win free drinks. Here are some examples of what we are looking for!!

We four has arrived!!!! We have officially hit the halfway point of our season and things are going swimmingly. There were winners and losers on the field but most importantly Rounding Third and Looking to Score was able to take home the Theme win.  This week we've got the Walking Dead as the theme. You can be characters from the show or simply a zombie. If you've never heard of the show or dont know what a zombie is, I've inserted some examples below. Very excited to see what everyone comes up with!!
